FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. What does the abbreviation LED stand for?
LED stands for light emitting diode. It is a semiconductor solid-state device that is specially fabricated to emit light.
2. Which draws the most current - LED lights or incandescent lights?
LED lamps draw less current than incandescent lamps. When less current is required by the lights, it's possible that additional features can be added and/or smaller guage wires could be used for the LED lamps. Using smaller gaugewires could mean additional cost saving.
3. Why do LED lights cost more than incandescent lights?
The initial cost for LED lights is higher than the cost of incandescent lights; however, the LED lights last far longer. The lights we carry offer 100,000 hours or lifetime warranties. You won't need to buy new light fixtures or bulbs, or mess with corroded sockets, changing bulbs in the middle of winter, or getting pulled over for burned out lights.
